Busy busy busy

The remainder of August is going to be pretty hectic for me, what with traveling and having friends visit and stuff, so I’m not sure how often I’m going to be able to post. Don’t miss me too much, Internets.

Not that Jezebel is responsible for everything that happens in the Gawker universe, but their post on plagiarism would be less ironic if it didn’t occur the same day that Gawker media’s flagship blog was itself accused of plagiarizing this blogger’s content.

Bygones!

I got a little too relaxed over the Thanksgiving holiday, and therefore haven’t updated this with the awesomeness that was promised. I shall postpone it for now, since it requires scanning and such, but I promise to do better about posting.

Ugh

I have too much tv to watch. I’ve gotten used to watching only two or three shows regularly, and now there are a bunch of new programs that I like enough to keep up with (Castle, FlashForward, Trauma, The Good Wife, etc) I’m finding the time drain a little hard to get used to. I am not used to watching this much tv, dammit! It’s messing with my reading/knitting/vegging time. I’m pretty sure that I’ve thrown over Gossip Girl, though, so at least I freed up a little time.

What was the point of the skort? I used to wear them when I was younger, but now I don’t understand why. And that makes me wonder, what am I wearing now that will utterly befuddle me in ten years?

So sleepy…

I am operating on a ridiculously small amount of sleep, and I still haven’t even watched Project Runway yet. This is definitely something I’ll have to do over the long weekend.

Just wondering: is it better to do all the little things right and fail at the big things, or to get the big things right and not the little ones? Still pondering this.
